wshp.org | Digging borewells where there is a lack of Water

It has been reported that India will be in the water stress category by 2025, and efforts are being undertaken by the Indian government to assess what programs and strategies can be implemented to address this frightening issue.

In Andhra Pradesh summers are so hot up to 52 degrees Celsius that people die. And when we come to the problems faced by the people these summers, water is seen as the main problem. Wells get dried up and bore wells do not seem to pull out enough and good water. Poor people in villages share the pond water with livestock. They wash themselves, wash their clothes, and wash their livestock in the same water. And because of this, both young and old die of diarrhea, vomiting and other sicknesses.

WSHP is catering to the water needs of the people in villages by rigging bore wells and digging wells by donations from generous people. This is our vision to dig wells and bore wells and arrange pump sets for safe drinking water nearly in each and every place where there is no such facility. If benevolent people come forward to help with this project, we can alleviate the water problems in places where there is no safe drinking water, which are far away from the modern civilization. Still the need is great and resources are limited.
